What's a good event without some live music? For 2023 we dug into the local Oregon music scene of Oakridge, Eugene and Portland to bring you some foot tapping, head bopping and finger snapping tunes.

Led by the fiddler Mr. Kelly Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Etouffee combines red hot fiddle, shufflin' rhythm and blues, and kickin' Southern rock to create an exciting new sound known as Swamp Rock.

The Sugar Beets
The Sugar Beets have their roots in the University of Oregon dorms. They have been playing their feel good dance music together for over 33 years.

Sugar Pine String Band
Eugene, Oregon is a place of comprised of both windy ridges and misty hollows. The music of Sugar Pine is similarly diverse, ranging from dark, haunting harmonies to soaring, electrically charged instrumental jams. An eclectic mix of original songs and unique takes on roots and bluegrass tunes create a high-energy force that will make you want to get up and dance.
Sugar Pine came together out of the local jam scene in Eugene and has morphed into one of the most popular live bands in the Willamette Valley. The band is comprised of Gabe Schliffer – fiddle and cello, Jack Wheeler – dobro, Cory Briar – mandolin, Gordon DiQuattro – banjo, Bonnie Doran – bass, and Kyle McGonegle – guitar.

Alder Street
Alder Street is boot-stompin’, gritty, and bourbon flavored. The band draws its inspiration from a variety of sources, evinced by original tunes that break the mold of traditional bluegrass, and reprises ranging from Iron Maiden to Bill Monroe.
